# Crash

#### **What is Crash**

Crash is a real-time multiplier game where users participate in a continuously increasing value and decide when to exit before the round ends.

Each round starts from a base multiplier that increases over time. Users can join the round and choose when to exit, securing the current multiplier at that moment.

The round ends instantly at a randomly determined point. Users who exit before the round ends receive their calculated value, while those who remain in the round until the end do not receive a return.

***

#### **How it works**

Each round begins with a multiplier starting from a base value.

* The multiplier increases continuously in real time
* Users can join the round by entering an amount
* At any moment, users can choose to exit

When a user exits:

* The current multiplier is applied to their amount
* The result is calculated instantly

At an unpredictable point:

* The round ends instantly
* The multiplier stops
* The system resets and a new round begins

If a user exits before the round ends:

* The user receives their result based on the multiplier

If the round ends before the user exits:

* The participation ends with no return

***

#### **Key mechanics**

Crash is built on timing and decision-making.

* The multiplier increases continuously over time
* Users decide when to exit
* The round ends at a non-visible, unpredictable point
* Outcomes depend entirely on timing

This creates a system where:

* Early exit provides lower but safer outcomes
* Waiting longer increases potential value but also risk

At the same time, each interaction contributes to the platform:

* Every participation generates transaction volume
* A fixed **5% protocol fee** is applied
* **2.5% is burned** and **2.5% is distributed in USDT**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.sweep.finance/ecosystem-components/platform/crash.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
